The Bill Carleton Band is launching several marketing and promotional campaigns this year, for one reason only, which is to get our music out to as many people as possible. The Street Team is absolutely essential in that it is powered by dedicated listener support. You all may not have noticed this but by coming out to Westbrook Lobster last weekend, you were doing what every musician would hope their fans would do: You came back to a show because you liked the music, and you brought friends.
Because of the fact that the Street Team Members are a major part in getting the music out there – a smart band will treat them right. So here's what our marketing team is putting together for the Bill Carleton Band Street Team:
- Street Team Membership Pass (laminated with a sweet lanyard connector)
- Guest List Privileges (go to shows for free)
- Back Stage/Green Room Access (party with the band back stage before and after the shows)
- Live Recording/Studio Session Access/Private Party Access (Remember the party in NJ I mentioned to you all? That type of stuff will happen all the time)

Street Team Member Obligations

So what will the Bill Carleton Band expect from its Street Team Members? It's simple -- get the music into the ears of anyone you can. Here's how:
- Send people to our MySpace page
- Send people here to our website
- Help to promote our music by handing out CD Samplers
- Help to promote our shows by giving out fliers or other materials, showing up, and bringing friends
- Promote the Street Team and help us find new members
